Tuesday Morning Update:

Very active weather day is in the works. First of all, the NWS has issued a flood watch and a wind advisory that is in effect until tonight. The latest future-cast continues to show waves of rain through tonight, with an additional 1-2 inches of rain expected by midnight, therefore flooding could occur at any time, especially in flood prone areas. A cold front will sweep through the area today bringing wind gusts up to 40 MPH at times.

We will also experience a 30 degree temperature drop as the cold front passes through.  Check out the national weather services hourly graph as we go from a high of 58 at 11 am today to a low of 28 at 6 am tomorrow.

Things look to dry out on Wednesday and Thursday before more rain moves in on Friday (UGH). I am monitoring the potential for some wintry precipitation for the weekend, things look interesting but we are still early in the game, so stay tuned!
