Wednesday Morning Update

Good hump day everyone! Temperatures this morning are once again starting out in the teens! (BURRR). Highs today isn’t a lot better, but we’ll take 35 for the high. Our next weather system moves in tomorrow night, clouds associated with this system will overspread the area tomorrow, bringing cloudy conditions. Rain/snow mix looks likely tomorrow night, but no accumulations are expected. Rain will once again become likely during on Friday and Saturday. Luckily, the latest data has decreased the amount of rain that’s expectd to fall, with most of the area now projected to receive between an inch to an inch and a half.

Severe weather is also a possibility on Saturday into Saturday night. The Storm Perdiction Center has already highlighted parts of Western Kentucky for that potential. This was yesterday’s outlook, the new outlook is issued around 5 AM, and it’s currentely 4:40 CST. So I’ll keep you posted on that potential.

Also, the Kentucky statewide tornado drill is this morning, this is only a drill and no severe weather is expected today. Have a great day everyone!
